Talmine provides easy access by RIB to the scenic dives of Eilean nan Ron described on the next page as well as the wreck site of the SS Ashbury.

The SS Ashbury, a British tramp steamer foundered on the Big Black Skerry at the mouth of the Kyle of Tongue in 1945 with the loss of all hands. Today, the Ashbury lies in ~20m and is an excellent wreck dive. The engine, propellor, shaft, boilers, machinery and bow section are all easily reached.
